First seed start: Sowed 4 Feb 2009

I have sown Chirita involucrata and C. micromusa today Feb. 4, and crossed my fingers. I am using a commercial seed starter mix from the local garden center prepared for them by Fafard, Inc. The mix is milled sphagnum (50-60%) horticultural vermiculite and wetting agent, per package description. We are just heading toward spring here, temperature outside today will reach 15F for a high, but I have nice south facing basement windows.
